Mr. Kirman is GM's nominee to the Board and has served as a Director of the Company since October 2023. He is the VP
Strategy and Corporate Development at General Motors, leading the Strategy, Corporate Development, GM Ventures and
Strategic Technology Partnerships teams, having joined GM in January 2023. Prior to GM, he served in various
corporate development roles at Tesla, Inc. from
August 2016 to December 2023, including as the Head of Corporate Development, from September 2019 to December 2022.
Mr. Kirkman has extensive M&A and investing experience gained during his time leading the corporate development
teams of GM and Tesla, as well as previously as part of Apple Inc.’s corporate development team. He holds an MBA
from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University,
San Luis Obispo.
