Overview

Lithium Americas is building Thacker Pass to enable a domestic lithium supply chain to help the U.S. on-shore industrial-scale lithium production to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers. Thacker Pass is the largest known Resource (Measured and Indicated) and Reserve (Proven and Probable) in the world. Mechanical completion of Phase 1 for nominal production capacity of 40,000 tonnes per year of battery-quality lithium carbonate is targeted for late-2027. The company trades on both the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: LAC) and on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: LAC).
