Lithium Americas is building Thacker Pass to enable a domestic lithium supply chain to help the U.S. on-shore industrial-scale lithium production to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers.
Thacker Pass is the largest known Resource (Measured and Indicated) in the world.
Mechanical completion of Phase 1 for nominal production capacity of 40,000 tonnes per year of battery-quality lithium carbonate is targeted for late-2027.
The company trades on both the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: LAC) and on the New York Stock Exchange
(NYSE: LAC).
