Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023 is Small Business Saturday – a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities. Small Business Saturday has become an important part of small businesses’ busiest shopping season. The day infuses money back into our local economies, promotes vibrant and diverse communities, and celebrates the important role of small businesses in the national economy.

When you support a local business, you’re also supporting your neighborhood, town or city by way of paying sales tax. Sales tax revenue supports public schools, parks, roads and sidewalks, and funds public service workers, such as firefighters.

- Midas House in Winnemucca: sub-leasing 10 rooms for lodging
- Schommer Properties, LLC: purchased 45 acres for the Workforce Hub
- City of Winnemucca: agreement to lease 177 acres near the airport for the Transload Terminal
- Stitzer Properties: purchased 38 acres for ingress and egress for the Transload Terminal
- Purchased a 320-acre ranch (208 acres farmed) located in Orovada, and a 21,879-acre ranch located near Thacker Pass.
